Unhappy Surprise

I eagerly awaited my earrings b/c the stone it it was my birthstone. When I opened the box there was nothing in it. A search of the enclosed outer box etc. brought a small plastic bag with the earrings and backs in it. The backs did not fit the earring. Let's talk.
